Our Origins
In 2019, a group of engineers and parents observed a shift. The devices designed to make our lives easier were becoming silent observers. The data being collected wasn't just numbers, it was the laughter of our children, the private conversations of partners, and the intimate rhythms of our lives.
In Greek Mythology, Perseus used Medusa's power to fight the gods and won. We named ourselves Perseus Labs the because we believe technology should be a shield for families to be protected from the misuse of AI.

Our privacy has slowly eroded and forward looking governments have tried to stop it with legislation like GDPR, LGPD, and CRPA. However, no fine or government action has ever stopped big tech from harvesting our most personal moments for advertising or making money off of us. Bad actors use our data for deepfakes, scams, and other malicious acts. We are making our stand. No one should have to trade security for privacy. No one should have to trade security for convenience. Technology has become invasive and far from the idyllic future we were promised. We can reverse course.
